This theory given by him holistically approaches and attends to the different dimensions of intelligence in a particular student.   • Linguistic Intelligence:  It involves sensitivity to spoken and written language. We focus on enhancing the students’ ability to learn languages and the capacity to use language to accomplish certain goals. Howard Gardner sees as having high linguistic intelligence in writers, poets, lawyers and speakers.
  • Logical-Mathematical Intelligence:  It consists of the capacity to analyze problems logically and carry out mathematical operations, and investigate issues scientifically. This intelligence is in coherence with scientific and mathematical thinking.

English as an important learning area focuses on language, literacy and basic concepts of the world, which is useful for forming major aspects of a child’s development process. English Language and literacy focuses on language skills development and using language for communicating and learning. English is a language that provides children with the opportunity to enhance language skills and broadens their conceptual understanding of the world.
